Since the start of activities in 2012, Animal Welfare has been a priority for Land L owners and staff.
Day after day, we make sure to strengthen and improve our Animal Welfare Protocol according to national and international regulations:
Building reforms.
Animal Welfare Responsibly highly trained.
Improvement of Animal Welfare Practices and Protocols.
Years 2014 and 2018:
EU inspections.
Years 2015 and 2019:
SGS audit on Animal Welfare according to Swiss VPI.
Since 2015:
Active participant of several interdisciplinary activities regarding animal welfare.
Since 2016:
Active member of he ‘Respectful Life’ project of the Belgian Meat Federation (Febev) in conjunction with the University of Leuven.
Continuous training program for plant workers, transporters and suppliers at the Plant and in Senasa.
